On Tuesday, the one of the nation’s top prospects in the 2019 recruiting cycle released his ‘Top 5’ via Twitter.

Not surprisingly, the Florida Gators are mentioned along with Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, and Southern California for the pledge of California CB Chris Steele.
Steele had committed to Southern Cal in the Summer, but decommitted in October after the Trojans underachieved early in the season.
Steele has tweeted out that he will announce which school he will attend at the 2019 All-American game in San Antonio on January 5.
The 4-star CB is rated as the #6 cornerback in the country by 247Sports and has a national overall ranking of #55.
According to the 247Sports Crystal Ball, USC holds the edge to sign the Bellflower, CA native, but Florida hasn’t backed down and has received a few crystal balls of their own in recent weeks.
Florida currently has two four-star prospects committed at the cornerback position, but lacks the depth of every other team in his top five.
National Signing Day is only eight days away, and Florida is in position to land several key targets.
