Gators Add Three-Star DE Justus Boone to 2021 Class

Dan Mullen and the Gators football staff received some good news on Wednesday night when Sumter, South Carolina native, Justus Boone gave his commitment. Boone is the twelfth member of a 2021 signing class that currently ranks third in the nation and leads the SEC.

The 6’5″ 230-pound defensive end is listed as a three-star athlete with a composite rating of 0.8839 according to 247Sports. David Turner is credited as Boone’s primary recruiter and secured the commitment despite South Carolina holding 100% of the crystal balls.

The talented edge rusher is yet another sign that the Gators are becoming as much of a contender on the recruiting trail as they are on the field.
