Boston College flips Clinton Burton, Jr. from Florida

Boston College just landed their highest rated commitment ever. The commitment of Clinton Burton, Jr. does, however, come at the expense of the Florida Gators.

Burton originally committed to Florida in September 2019 and attended Junior Day in Gainesville in March.

The 5’11, 170 lb cornerback is rated a four star prospect according to the 247Sports composite rankings of the 2021 recruiting cycle.

Last month, the Baltimore, Maryland native was named a 2020 Preseason All-American by MaxPreps.

Florida’s 2021 class now sits at nineteen committed prospects and is ranked No. 10 nationally.
