
Just days after announcing his intentions to enter the transfer portal, former five-star Clemson running back, Demarkcus Bowman has made his decision. Bowman announced that he would finish the semester at Clemson before transferring to Gainesville to join the Gators football program.

As one of the nation’s most coveted backs, Bowman was heavily recruited by the Gators staff. Former Lakeland High teammates immediately reached out to Bowman when news broke of his entry into the portal. His presence will bolster an already solid running back room for the Gators and is just another in a long list of blue chip talents to join Dan Mullen via the transfer portal.
Bowman’s announcement brings cause for celebration to many fans and followers of all things recruiting, who have long suggested that he would eventually be a Gator. It can’t be overstated what a big pick up this is for Dan Mullen and Co.
