Florida head coach Billy Napier has added to his program’s quarterback room with the commitment of Aidan Warner, a transfer from Yale. Warner is the second Ivy league transfer to join the Gators this off-season, joining Joey Slackman from Penn.
The Gators had a need at the position following reports over the weekend that backup Jack Miller III is no longer with the program.
Warner joins a QB room with RS senior Graham Mertz and incoming freshman (and Gatorade National Player of the Year) DJ Lagway.
Warner is a 6’3, 205 lb prostyle QB out of Winter Park, FL. He was the No. 116 ranked QB in the 2023 recruiting cycle.
Warner was also offered by the Miami Hurricanes and Minnesota Golden Gophers.
