No. 10 Florida softball is rolling.
The Gators (24-4) just completed their third consecutive win with 10 or more runs in a victory over the Indiana Hoosiers (21-5).
Starting pitcher Keagan Rothrock had another solid showing in the Gators’ win over Indiana Saturday in Gainesville.
She threw seven complete innings with six strikeouts, four walks, four hits and three earned runs.
The Hoosiers’ four runs came on a pair of two-run home runs in Rothrock’s last frame out. But by then, the Gators were too far out in front for the Hoosiers to catch up.
Leading the way for the Gators, Katie Kistler had quite the day in the batter’s box and tied her career-high five RBI.
She accounted for five of the team’s ten runs. The senior was one shy of the cycle with a single, triple and home run.
Her three-run home run came in the bottom of the sixth inning to secure a six-run lead for the Orange and Blue.
Korbe Otis totaled three RBI on one hit and one sacrifice fly. She drove in the first three runs in the first and second innings.
Ava Brown and Reagan Walsh each recorded an RBI, as well.
The Gators will look for another win over Indiana Sunday at 11 a.m. at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.
