GREENVILLE, N.C. – A trio of hat-tricks from Maggi Hall, Emily Heller and Sarah Falk lifted the Gators to their twelfth straight victory, a 19-7 win over the East Carolina University Pirates.
The Gators cruised throughout the match, leading 12-3 at the half and winning 19 draw controls to the Pirates’ nine. Liz Harrison had 11 draw controls in the contest.
Hall led the team with five goals, while Heller and Falk had four. Maggi Waters, Danielle Pavinelli, Ashley Gonzalez, Paisley Eagan, Josie Hahn and Jackie Norsworthy all had one goal each.
The Gators dished out six assists, two for Heller and one each for Hall, Gonzalez, Norsworthy and Delaney Radin.
Elyse Finnelle controlled the net for the entire 60 minutes, stopping seven shots and allowing seven for a .500 save percentage.
The Gators will carry their winning streak back home in a matchup against James Madison University on Saturday, April 13. The game will begin at 11:30 a.m. and be streamed on ESPN+.
