GAINESVILLE, FL- The Florida Gators announced that freshman PF was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his right foot.
Bassett is a 6-9 222 lb power forward from Oakland, CA. Typically the recovery time for this injury is 4-6 months.
The recovery time will require Bassett to redshirt for the 2016-17 season with four years of eligibility left after he returns.
