JACKSONVILLE, FL- The Florida Gators men’s basketball team used a pressing defense to key a 15-0 second half run that allowed Florida to escape FGCU with a victory.
Florida was led by junior Devin Robinson with 14 points, junior John Egbunu with 13 points, fifth-year senior Canyon Barry with 13 points, and senior Kasey Hill who added 11 points. Egbunu added 8 rebounds, and Hill contributed four assists.
Florida’s defense converted 19 turnovers into 24 points.
