Florida is the new #1 in USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll

The second coaches poll of the 2017 season came Tuesday after a packed weekend of action. 

Florida jumped from fourth last week to first this week and received 18 of 32 first place votes. The Gators won five games this weekend including an extra inning tilt with #11 Michigan on Saturday. 

Auburn remained second in the polls after a 3-1 weekend. The Tigers received 8 first place votes. Florida State earned four first place votes after also racing out to a 5-0 start. 

Oklahoma fell from first place in last weeks poll to fourth after a 2-2 weekend. The defending champions still received two first place votes. Alabama rounded out the top-5 after a 5-0 start to their season.
