Egor Koulechov announced his commitment to the University of Florida on Tuesday night. Koulechov was one of the most sought after transfers this off season.
Koulechov is a 6-5 inch wing that averaged 18.2 PPG and 8.9 RPG. Koulechov also shot at a 47.4% clip from three-point range.
Koulechov was born in Russia but grew up in Israel before moving to the US prior to his junior year in high school.
Koulechov chose Florida over Oklahoma after meeting with both Gators head coach Mike White and former Gators and Sooners head coach Lon Kruger this weekend.
Great post! Speaking of graduate transfers, during the spring game Chris Doering mentioned Malik Zaire possibly coming to us- what do you think about that?
Love your blog! Go Gators!
Robyn, I actually like the idea of Zaire coming here. Besides having been successful at a big time school, it provides depth at the quarterback position.
Quarterback is too important to not have depth and experience.
Also with the added “competition”, I think it will make the other qbs currently on the roster better.
