Kevin O’Sullivan won his first NCAA Championship on Tuesday. Just three days later, O’Sullivan was named the NCAA Coach of the Year by

Florida finished the season 52-19 improving Sully’s overall record at Florida to 448-208 in ten seasons at the helm.

O’Sullivan has been targeted by several other schools over the last few years including his alma mater Clemson in 2015.  Earlier this month, O’Sullivan was mentioned to be a candidate for the open South Carolina job.

Florida’s World Series victory and the fact that South Carolina appears to be set to hire South Florida’s Mark Kingston seem to have squelched those rumors for the time being.
