The Florida Gators volleyball team will open the 2017 season ranked for the twenty sixth straight time. The AVCA Coaches Poll was released Wednesday, and Florida was awarded the 12th most points.
The Gators return 13 of their 14 letter-winners from a year ago when Florida won the SEC. Florida finished 2016 with a 27-4 record and ranked #15 overall.

The Gators season starts August 19 at 3:00 PM at home against Coastal Carolina. Florida will face SIX teams in the top 25: #1 Texas, #5 Nebraska, #11 North Carolina, #14 Kentucky (twice), #15 Florida State, and #19 Missouri (twice).
