Florida junior goalkeeper Haley Hicklen was named the Big East Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Hicklen went 2-0 as Florida topped Temple and Villanova in league play.

The Baltimore, MD native posted a 5.55 goals against average and a .526 save percentage, both marks were league highs for every day starters in the Big East.

This is the second time Hicklen has earned the weekly honor as she did March 6 as well.

Hicklen is 10-3 in the cage this season and has made 127 saves thus far. Her season GAA is 11.13 while her save percentage sits at .485.

Florida faces Marguette in a battle for first place at noon on Saturday at Dizney Stadium.
