Florida WR Tyrie Cleveland almost came down with an excellent catch despite good coverage early in the Gators blow out win over rival Florida State on Saturday.

Cleveland landed hard on his shoulder and needed assistance as he was escorted immediately to the locker room.

Head coach Dan Mullen confirmed in his post game press conference that Cleveland suffered a broken collarbone.

Cleveland’s season will end with 18 catches for 212 yards and three scores.

Florida defeated the Seminoles 41-14 and will await the bowl selection process to find out where they will play. The Gators have put themselves in position to earn a New Year’s Six Bowl, but with many games still to be played today and conference championships taking place next weekend, much is to be determined.
