Florida ace Kelly Barnhill was named the SEC Pitcher of the Week for the second consecutive week, the conference announced on Monday.

Per the SEC press release:

SEC Pitcher of the Week – Florida’s Kelly Barnhill, a senior right-hander from Marietta, Ga., posted two wins and two saves at the Littlewood Classic. Barnhill struck out a season-high 14 batters in the complete-game win over #14/16/24 Arizona State. For the week, she fanned 28 batters in 13.0 innings of work.

Barnhill is 6-0 with a 0.88 ERA in 32 innings of work so far. The senior has recorded 54 strikeouts while only walking seven batters. Barnhill has also recorded three saves this season in relief roles. Barnhill has recorded a decision in all nine appearances she has made in 2019.

The Gators will travel to Jacksonville to take on the Dolphins on Wednesday, but will return home for the Bubly Invitational beginning this Friday.
