Shortly following the conclusion of Florida’s spring game, Dan Mullen and his staff received a commitment for the class of 2020. Jaheim Bell, of Valdosta High in Valdosta, GA., checks in at 6’2″ and 213-pounds, and is the number 23 ranked athlete in the cycle. Bell announced his commitment via Twitter:

Boasting a 4.66 forty and a 38.1″ vertical, Bell has received thirty-eight offers. As his primary recruiters, Larry Scott and John Hevesy beat out several high profile programs, such as Florida State, Tennessee, Ole Miss, LSU, and Alabama.

The Gators 2020 class currently ranks fifth nationally, and third in conference with 10 commitments. Bell has a composite score of 88.89% and is in the three star recruit range, while 247Sports regards him slightly higher giving him four stars.

  1. Obviously they all (schools) regardfully have him higher than a 3 star. This was a nice get for Florida.
