Following a masterful performance on Friday, Jack Leftwich has earned SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week. The Orlando native turned in a complete game shutout versus the twenty-second ranked Missouri Tigers.

Through the full nine innings, Leftwich remained in constant control of his pitches and the Tigers batters, allowing just two hits and a 0.71 average against. He added to that nine strikeouts, tying his career high.

The complete game two-hitter is the first by a Gator since Logan Shore vs. Georgia on April 22, 2016.

Florida will open the SEC Tournament against Texas A&M on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. EST. The game can be viewed on the SEC Network.
