The Southeastern Conference announced game times and the television schedule for the first few weeks of the season on Tuesday. Additionally, CBS has selected it’s game of the week for the entire season.
The Gators will open the season on September 26 at Ole Miss with kickoff slated for noon. The following week (October 3), Florida will host South Carolina with a scheduled noon kickoff, as well. Both games will be carried by ESPN.
The October 17 matchup with LSU will be aired at 3:30 PM on either ESPN or ESPN2.
The annual Florida-Georgia rivalry will take it’s usual spot with a 3:30 PM kickoff and be aired on CBS on November 7.
In July, the SEC announced a ten game, league only, schedule in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Last month, the conference announced the additional league opponents, which added Texas A&M and Arkansas to Florida’s schedule.
It’s finally beginning to feel like we will see football in Gainesville this year.
