Game Synopsis

Following seven scoreless innings, Florida second baseman Hannah Adams hit a walk-off solo shot over the right-center-field wall as the Gators prevailed in extras.

Florida right-hander Natalie Lugo retired the first 10 batters she faced before an error on Adams yielded the first McNeese State baserunner. Barring a leadoff double in the top of the fifth, Lugo dealt a no-hitter across 5 1/3 frames until junior right-hander Elizabeth Hightower entered the circle in relief.

Hightower cruised through the final eight batters; she struck out the side in the top of the eighth before Adams walked it off in bottom half of the inning.
