
The Gators have landed another player out of the NCAA’s transfer portal. Billy Napier and his staff have once again gained at the expense of his previous employer as OL O’Cyrus Torrence announced his commitment to Florida on social media Monday.

Torrence was ranked the No. 19 prospect in the transfer portal by 247Sports after amassing an All-Sun Belt selection as a junior. Torrence is a 6’5, 330 lb mauler of a lineman.
The Greensburg, LA native signed with Louisiana in the 2019 class. He was a three-star prospect out of St. Helena. Torrence was ranked the No. 145 OT out of high school and No. 1,697 overall.
Torrence is the fifth transfer taken by Florida since Napier’s arrival. He’s also the third former Ragin’ Cajun to be added to the UF roster, joining OL Kamryn Waites and RB Montrell Johnson.
National Signing Day is February 2.
