After nearly five month of being committed to the University of Miami, the nation’s No. 6-ranked quarterback in the 2023 class has flipped to a rival program.
Pittsburg, CA native Jaden Rashada announced his commitment to the Florida Gators late Thursday evening.

Rashada is rated a four-star prospect on 247Sports and the No. 6 quarterback in the recruiting cycle. Additionally, he is the No. 17 overall prospect.
In 2021, the 6’4, 185 lb signal caller amassed 2,220 passing yards while completing 57% of his passes and tossing 27 touchdowns.
Despite his commitment to Miami on June 26, Florida’s coaches kept in touch and continued to recruit the talented prospect.
Rashada becomes the twenty-third commitment in Florida’s 2023 class that currently sits No. 8 nationally and No. 4 in the SEC.
Rashada is expected to be in The Swamp this weekend as Florida takes on South Carolina at 4:00 PM Saturday.
