Florida’s Condron Family Ballpark will host Florida A&M (29-28), Texas Tech (39-21), and UConn (43-15) in this weekend’s regional action.
The Gainesville regional winner will pair with the Columbia, SC regional winner in Gainesville next weekend. The Gamecocks swept Florida in a three game series at South Carolina in April.
2023 is Florida’s fifteenth straight NCAA Tournament appearance and comes on the heels of the Gators’ sixteenth regular season conference championship.
The NCAA regionals serve as a double elimination tournament with one team advancing to the super regionals.
