The game was scoreless at the half before the Razorbacks found their way on offense. Sophia Aragon opened the scoring two minutes into the second half. Aragon fought off multiple defenders and goalkeeper Alexa Goldberg to score from close-range.
Arkansas scored again in the 67th minute on a corner kick. Goldberg punched the ball away but it went right to Sabrina Jones who scored on a header.
Ava Tankersley put the game out of reach in the 75th minute with a score from the six yard box. Avery Wren had the assist.
The Razorbacks outshot the Gators 15-6 and had 8 corners to Florida’s two. Megan Hinnenkamp led the Gators with 2 shots.
Goldberg had two saves in the match.
The Gators will be back at home next Thursday, October 19th, against the Auburn Tigers. The game will kick-off at 6 p.m. and streamed on SECN
