IMG Academy center Olivier Rioux announced his commitment to the Florida Gators via Instagram on Wednesday.
Rioux is listed at 7’6 and 300 lbs. He holds the Guinness Book of Records title for “world’s tallest teenager.”
Rioux is rated a three-star prospect by On3, the number 147 overall recruit in the nation after reclassifying to the 2024 class (from 2025).
Rioux chose the Gators over Florida Atlantic, Stetson, and Coastal Carolina, among other programs. It is not yet known if he will be on scholarship or join as a preferred walk-on.
Rioux is attending IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL from Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
