Gainesville-  Florida WR Treon Harris will transfer from the program. Harris was granted a release of his scholarship today.
Harris has been suspended since January for a violation of school rules.

Harris played quarterback for the past two years, but Florida head coach Jim McElwain said just last week that Treon Harris was playing wide receiver this year.

If Harris transfers to a division one school he will be forced to sit out one year but will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Harris was originally a commit to Florida State but ultimately chose Florida and former head coach Will Muschamp.
