Gainesville- The American Volleyball Coaches Association coaches poll for NCAA Division One volleyball has been released.
The University of Florida enters the season ranked number ten, receiving 1,090 points.
The Gators finished last season at 25-7 and advanced to the elite eight before losing to Texas under a cloud of controversy.
The 2016 Gators begin the season on August 26 against Nebraska and August 27 against Oregon. Both of these matches will be played in Eugene, Oregon.
The Gators will play eight straight road or neutral site matches before finally playing at home on September 16 against Florida A&M. Home matches will be played at the Lemerand Athletic Center while the O’Connell Center undergoes renovations.
