FINAL: ARKANSAS 2, FLORIDA 1
Fayetteville, AK- After a two hour rain delay, the Arkansas Razorbacks soccer team was able to accomplish something it had never done.  The Razorbacks beat the Florida Gators for the first time in program history behind two goals from junior Jessi Hartzler in a three minute span in the first half.  The Gators had won the first twenty matches between the two.  Florida dominate play in the second half, but were able to only get one goal past Razorbacks senior goalkeeper Cameron Carter.  Florida outshot Arkansas 20-13, with 15 of those shots recorded in the second half.  The Gators fall to 5-2 on the season, and 1-1 in SEC play.  Arkansas improves to 8-1 on the season, including a win over #2 Duke, and 2-0 in the SEC.

Arkansas got two goals from Hartzler in the first 25 minutes.  Hartzler’s first goal was on a 20 yard shot to the top of the goal in the 23rd minute.  Hartzler struck again in the 25th minute as she headed in a corner kick from Claire Kelley.

Florida got on the board with their first corner kick of the second half as Meggie Dougherty Howard slid in to score after sophomore Mayra Pelayo made a touch off of the Gabby Seiler corner.
