Gainesville, FL- Florida Gators freshman wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland pled guilty to first degree misdemeanor Criminal Misconduct on Friday.
The Gainesville Sun’s Robbie Andreu first reported that Cleveland will serve six months probation, and must pay restitution and all court costs.
Cleveland and freshman teammate Rick Wells were arrested in July and charged with felonies, however those charges have since been reduced to a misdemeanor.
Wells took a differed prosecution, and if all objectives are met, this incident will not appear on his record.
Cleveland didn’t qualify for the differed prosecution due to an arrest in Texas on a petty theft charge.
