The New York Mets announced Tuesday that Tim Tebow will report to Scottsdale and play with the Mets’ Arizona Fall League team. Tebow will be managed by Mets first base coach Tom Goodwin.
Tebow hit .286 with a home run and two walks in three games with the Mets Instructional League team in Port St. Lucie, FL.
The Arizona Fall League is known to have top level and elite prospects, unlike the instructional leagues. Tebow will be facing pitchers with much higher ceilings and likely candidates for major league rosters as soon as next season.
