GAINESVILLE, FL- The Florida Gators volleyball team returned home for the first time since October 2, and defeated the Mississippi State Bulldogs soundly. Florida posted a .412 hitting mark, and held Mississippi State to a .045 clip.
Florida had five players with six or more kills including Carli Snyder (11), Rhamat Alhassan (9), Rachael Kramer (7), and Shainah Joseph (6). Florida earned more points than Mississippi State by a 53-36 score and outmatched the Bulldogs in every statistic including blocks, 8-5.
Florida improves to 17-2 and 7-1 in the SEC. Mississippi State falls to 11-11 and 3-5 in SEC play.
