The Florida Gators defense will be losing a lot of key players in 2017. No longer will Jalen Tabor and Quincey Wilson patrol the defensive backfield as they have both opted to jump to the NFL after successful college careers. This is one reason that Florida has been considered DBU by the media.

Stewart is a 6 foot, 194 pound cornerback from New Orleans. Stewart has been on campus for his official visit this weekend. His primary recruiters have been Tim Skipper and Torrian Gray. Stewart also had offers from most of the major programs in the country, including the local LSU Tigers. Alabama, Texas, Auburn, Miami, Michigan, USC, and Penn State are just a few of the school to offer Stewart a scholarship.
Stewart is the second commitment Florida received tonight as LB Nick Smith committed just hours earlier.
