On Monday, the Southeastern Conference announced weekly superlatives for men’s basketball. After going 2-0 against two of the top teams in the conference, Florida junior Jalen Hudson was named co-Player of the Week.
Per the SEC release, Hudson averaged 24.5 points in leading Florida to wins over Alabama and Kentucky.
Hudson scored 27 on Tuesday at Alabama and 22 against Kentucky on Saturday.
Hudson shot over 60% including over 50% from three-point range.
This is the Richmond, VA native’s third time garnering Player of the Week recognition this season.

Florida will play in the SEC Tournament Friday night after securing a double-bye.
