There was a special feeling in The Swamp on Saturday. The Gators put on a show against a significantly inferior opponent.
On Saturday, Florida will welcome Kentucky into Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The Gators have won thirty-one straight contests over their SEC rivals, and at least one Gators defender believes that streak will be extended.
Per Mark Long of the Associated Press, Florida junior DB Chauncey Gardner-Johnson has guaranteed a victory over the Wildcats:

Both Florida and Kentucky sit at 1-0 after defeating non-conference opponents on opening weekend. The Gators dominated Charleston Southern (53-6) while the Wildcats defeated Central Michigan 35-20.
The Gators topped Kentucky 28-27 in September 2017, thanks to two plays which the Wildcats elected to not defend Florida receivers.
Gardner-Johnson was credited for five tackles (four solo) in the opener and has five career interceptions.
Florida and Kentucky will kick off at 7:30 PM on Saturday with the game televised on SEC Network.
