The Southeastern Conference announced it’s fall schedule for volleyball on Wednesday.
Just a couple of weeks ago the league announced a move to a fall schedule that includes double-headers against four opponents. Each team will host two weekends and play on the road for two weekends, as well.
The Gators will open the season at Auburn on Wednesday, October 21. The backend of that double-header will be held on Thursday, October 22. Both matches are set for an 8:00 PM start.
Florida will also face Alabama, South Carolina, and Georgia this season.
The NCAA has already cancelled the championships for fall sports. All players will also be able to retain their eligibility, regardless of playing this fall.
Gators 2020 Fall Schedule:
- October 21: at Auburn, 8 PM
- October 22: at Auburn, 8 PM
- October 30: vs Alabama, 7PM
- October 31: vs Alabama, TBA
- November 11: at South Carolina, 8 PM
- November 12: at South Carolina, TBA
- November 20: vs Georgia, 7 PM
- November 21: Georgia, TBA
