Humphrey is a 6’1, 185 lb prospect from Houston, Texas that attends Clear Lake High. In 2020, he recorded 24 tackles and 8 pass breakups in addition to an interception.
Humphrey is rated as a 4-star prospect according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He is listed as the No. 135 overall prospect and No. 16 CB in the recruiting cycle. Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas Tech were among many schools to offer him.
New Florida assistant coach Jules Montinar was most heavily involved in Humphrey’s recruitment. The top-150 prospect is expected to make an official visit to Gainesville on June 11.
Humphrey is now the highest rated prospect in Florida’s 2022 class. He becomes the sixth prospect committed to Mullen’s program.
