Mann’s selection ends a seven year drought for the University of Florida, and an eight year drought since a first round choice was produced.
Mann averaged 16 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game in 2020-21. Mann saw significant development in every aspect of his game with the departure of Andrew Nembhard to Gonzaga.
Mann played point guard for the Gators but he is likely to take on a combo guard role with an NBA team.
