It’s Friday Night Lights at the University of Florida. The annual recruiting mega-event brings out many of the nation’s top high school prospects and usually results in several commitments to the Gators football program.
This year was no different as 4-star RB Terrance Gibbs committed to Dan Mullen’s team Friday evening, upon being offered.
Gibbs rushed for more than 2,500 yards and 38 touchdowns over his freshman and sophomore years in high school before tearing his ACL prior to his junior year.
Alabama, Florida State, and LSU are among the teams that have offered the Winter Park native.
The 6’0, 190 lb prospect is the No. 17 ranked RB in the 2022 class and the No. 24 ranked player in the state of Florida.
The Gators now have eleven commitments in the 2022 recruiting cycle and are No. 27 in 247’s team rankings.
