SEC Media Days are set to take place next week at the College Football Hall of Fame and the Omni Hotel in Atlanta.

The Southeastern Conference announced the attendees for each school Tuesday afternoon.

For a team with as many questions as the Florida Gators, under a new head coach in Billy Napier, the three attendees were very much up in the air. Ultimately, the Gators will send QB Anthony Richardson, OL Richard Gouraige, and LB Ventrell Miller to Atlanta.

Richardson enters the 2022 campaign as the unquestioned QB1 in Gainesville. He has shown flashes of excellence but has struggled to remain on the field due to injuries.

Gouraige is a 6’5, 308 lb mauler that has played in 38 games in his Florida career, including twelve in each of the last three years. The former four-star prospect is expected to be a leader along the offensive line for the Gators this year as the team transitions to a run-centric offense.

Miller was the easy choice on the defensive side of the ball. The redshirt senior is the leader of the defense and makes the calls for his teammates. He has racked up 166 tackles and 7.5 sacks thus far in his career. Miller only played in two games in 2021 after sustaining a torn biceps. His bounce back will be imperative to the Gators’ success on the defensive side of the ball.

Florida will take the stage Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 PM to 4:15 PM for Media Days.
