With the amount of attrition that the Florida Gators roster has seen over the last month, it was inevitable that the Gators would become big players in the NCAA’s transfer portal.
After signing twenty prospects out of high school and adding two transfers during the early signing period, Florida has added a big body to a major position of need. Cam’Ron Jackson made his commitment via social media Friday evening.

Jackson entered the portal just one day earlier. Florida made contact immediately.
As a redshirt sophomore with the Memphis Tigers, Jackson racked up 41 tackles, 2.5 for loss, and a sack.
The 6’6, 300 lb defensive lineman will be visiting the UF campus for the weekend of January 6. He has cancelled a visit with Miami.
Jackson joins former Wisconsin QB Graham Mertz and Louisville DL Caleb Banks transferring into the program.
