The Florida Gators have received their first commitment of the 2017 recruiting bonanza, Friday Night Lights. 

Boca Raton High School TE/DE Dante Lang has announced his commitment to the University of Florida.

Lang is a 6-5, 220 lb athlete that ranks as the #122 prospect in the state of Florida per 24/7 sports. 

Florida tight ends coach Greg Nord was the primary recruiter for Lang. 

Florida’s 2018 recruiting class now includes 11 committed prospects.
