Hill is a four-star prospect out of Gainesville’s Buchholz High School. Hill is being recruited as a defensive lineman, but lined up at tight end during his freshman and sophomore years at Buchholz before moving to the defensive side of the ball nearly exclusively in 2021.
Hill is 6’3 and 255 lbs and was recruited primarily by Sean Spencer once the new staff was in place at UF. Hill camped at Florida on June 15 and walked away with a scholarship offer.
The 247Sports composite ranks Hill the nation’s No. 259 prospect in the 2023 recruiting cycle and the No. 38 defensive lineman in the class.
Hill is the eighth commitment in Billy Napier’s first full class. He is the second from Buchholz, joining ATH Creed Whittemore.
