Just hours after landing their quarterback of the 2023 class, the Gators secured the commitment of another top skill position prospect. Four-star running back Treyaun Webb announced his commitment via social media late Thursday afternoon.

Webb is ranked as the nation’s No. 162 overall prospect and the No. 5 running back in the 2023 composite rankings on 247Sports.

The Jacksonville, FL native has been one of the Gators’ staff’s top priorities since early March, when Webb made an unofficial visit to Gainesville. He’s made numberous trips to the campus since.

Webb pledged to Florida just weeks after taking official visits to South Carolina and Penn State in recent weeks. Gators running backs coach Jabbar Juluke and linebackers coach Mike Peterson were the primary recruiters for the First Coast prospect.

Webb is the cousin of former Gators cornerback Dee Webb.

The 6’1, 205 lb back is the eleventh member of Florida’s 2023 class.
